Strategic Planning

Strategic planning is a process of becoming clear about your organization’s mission, envisioning your organization’s best future, developing goals and strategies to move in that direction, and designing key performance measures that gauge your success. Taking the time to plan strategically means you will shape your organization’s future by acting now, rather than reacting as the future happens to you.


Process and product
The process of strategic planning is essential—getting key decision-makers, implementers and even customers, clients, or suppliers together to understand your past successes and your current situation, identify external trends, and map out the future of your organization through positive, creative dialogue. The products of your planning are a clear, shared vision of your organization’s future, along with identified results and key strategies to reach them.
